One of the things I most deeply appreciate about you Cat, is your deep commitment to learning, wondering, and thinking about how our actions/activities/choices align with your values and beliefs. It is a wonderful trait, that has brought a lot of positive to our team and will push your classmates and the new hierarchical form you will be entering :P in a good way :).

I really appreciate your rigorous examination and pursuit of your community and calling. I feel like you've really explored a variety of spaces and have touched each with your brilliance. Similarly thinking of the care and intention with which you hold people. Cat, each and every time that we have connected and shared, I have felt such a depth of caring. I am always moved to think differently about something, about how I show up in the world and in the work. By observing your presence, compassion, honesty, vulnerability and connection and how you have shared and extended those qualities to me, I have learned to bring them into my life more. I have seen you extend a lot of patience and understanding to me and others as we navigate a lot of new territory in the work and stretch in each of our roles. I will miss you so much -- your thoughtfulness, humor, your love for nature and walks, and the ways you are so courageous vulnerable. hi cat, i'm writing this more as a see you later, than a goodbye! i will miss your kindness and patience and our conversations at work. so very proud and excited for you as you push off for this journey -- please keep me posted and hope we'll work together again someday hehe. i hope you have lots of time to reacquaint with socal and with parts of your self you are exploring in the next year. can't wait to hear how it all goes (and i still have to hear your thoughts on the book!) <3 kyla

I was skeptical if we would get along at first. Your interests and life experiences didn't always align with mine. But once you dropped your Tech Company Worker Persona I realized how much of a goofball you are. Thank you for being vulnerable with me and allowing me to be vulnerable with you. You have provided space for me to grow not only at work but beyond. You are an invaluable friend and lifelong comrade in the movement no matter what role you hold in the future. I love you <3 ANL
