What:The First Law was closing Boston Harbor. The second they placed Massachusetts under military rule. Then they did one to protect British officials who are accused with crime in the colonies. After that law the next one said that British Soldiers could be housed in the colonists homes. The last was to give an area of land west of the 13 colonies to Quebec.

Why: So Britain could punish the colonists.
