Inquiry is embedded through students and teachers and provides for an abundance of personal reflection. The concepts of language, comparisons, research, etc., all support conceptual understanding. Local and global connection are built in with the different languages and cultural backgrounds of students. Variable groupings/partnering and collaboration are at the core of students learning from each other. Removing the barrier of communication issues is also supported in translanguage learning.
