<title>The goals and purpose of the park are the same to offer a green space to preserve the local wildlife and to make the healing warm springs accessible to everyone. The location of the park was not an accident this is the location that FDR would visit for relief of the symptoms of his polio. He also claimed that this area provided much of his inspiration on the New Deal projects.</title>

<title>FDR State Park is well loved and offers many activities each year. The park contains a statue of FDR that is an example of how he is still thought of as a son of Georgia. </title>

<title>The local community is still quite small but the many things FDR left behind still brings in history buffs and nature lovers alike. His local loves his Little White House, his Rehabilitation Clinic, and the area that became FDR State Park still provides jobs to the locals and reminds us of how a people and place can change how you see the world. </title>
