Hi y'all! My name is Ivy Geerts, and I am a rising junior at Bowie High School. I love spending time with friends and family, working out, good eats, and traveling. One of my main outlets is practicing my instruments, they are a perfect balance of challenging but so rewarding. I've played the cello for 6 years, but recently picked up guitar and piano about a year and a half ago!

Movies!

I have only watched about a billion movies, but my all-time favs are Mamma Mia, Pride and Prejudice (2005), Serendipity, Good Will Hunting, Little Women, and Normal People.

Favorite Eats!

As an Austin local, I think it's given to have at least 20 favorite restaurants. My favorite types of food are Mediterranean and Indian food. For Mediterranean food, I love a food truck on West 24th called Alpetra, hands down the best food ever.

Travel!

My family does travel quite a bit to visit our family overseas, so I've had the privilege of seeing lots of cool places. My favorite place to go has to be the Netherlands. I would love to go somewhere in South America or Australia!

Music!
