INTRODUCTION AND IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING TO LEARN

Learn
It means to gain Knowledge or skills from learning, reading , personal experiences etc.

Learning
Learning is basically the process of learning something.

Learner
Learner is a person who is learning something via various methods.

Whenever i think of this word LEARN what personally comes to my mind is learning our course content. I think this happens because we spend majority of our time thinking or revolving around our academic schedules or around the education system which just wants GOOD MARKS from you.
But Learning is something too much more than this.
It can be anything at anytime.
Learning is actually pushing yourself out of your protective shell and being open to accept and try each and every new thing that comes to you.
And when this happens you get a whole new experience, a whole new world and a whole new you with a whole new skill.

HOW LEARNING HAPPENS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4T4qp1h6k6s&ab_channel=MemcorpImmersiveLearning

What i personally understood from the video was that Learning is not just studying for the course content or for gaining some marks. But it is our experience and the impact it creates that makes us learn new things.
Learning is sometimes a single process while sometimes we also learn from others habits.
example: My mom has a habit of checking the electricity switches before leaving the house this is something which i have learnt from her .

Also when we learn by just reading or listening weyjust remember things for a while but when we learn from our experiences the impact stays stronger and fir ever.

MOST RECENT LEARNING
I have a great interest in learning ukulele which is a mini guitar with four strings.
The latest song which i learned on ukulele is Kina Chir by The ProphiC.

UNLEARNING
Unlearning is basically the process of forgetting something especially the bad habits or bad thoughts.
One must unlearn the old things ,the old memories to build up the new ones.
Also it sometimes become hard to unlearn things especially when you were too sure about it.

THE SOCIAL DILEMMA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaaC57tcci0&ab_channel=Netflix

This movie is something i believe all the youngsters should watch because it has something which is quiet relatable and important to understand.
Social media was once just a need but slowly it has become our greed. We use social media as if it is our only medium of survival. I have seen people going crazy for loosing their followers on instagram or people having lacks of friends on social media but not even a single in real. Social media is something which is ruining our younger generations day by day and for sure there will be a time when survival without social media will be impossible
Tough it as a good impact as well, during the pandemic it was the only medium to connect to people but then something too much is also not health.
There are many things happening in this world because of these platforms . Our whole generation is more depressed , fighting for all the fake love and and like buttons. but what they don't know is how this is ruining their lives and their brains. They don't know how this social media is controlling their lives. forcing them to do what they should not.

GENERAL OPINION ON DOCUMENTARY
I personally liked the documentary because it is quiet relatable to the younger generation. Also i believe that everyone should watch such informative documentaries so as to keep themselves aware of the things.

DID THE DOCUMENTARY CHANGE MY PERCEPTION TOWARDS THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
SOCIAL MEDIA IS A DRUG.
If you get too addective then all your nerves will be in hand of it. Definitely the documentary has changed my perception towards social media but it stays only for some time, the things again comes back to normal as the days passes. I remember i denied joining instagram during my school days due to the fear of its addiction. Now as i have finally made an account i find myself ruining most of my time in it Eventhough i understand that it is not something i am doing for my betterment but i find it quiet difficult to push myself away from it.

THINGS THAT I LEARNT FROM THE DOCUMRNTARY
What i learnt from the documentary is that all our activities are monitored and recorded . Everything that happens online is all done technically . The other thing that was mentioned here and also about which i am very well aware is how this social media is ruinig our lives and how its use should definitely be reduced.

Bloom's taxonomy is a toolbox that teacher or students can use to classify and organize learning objectives. It's most popular version is based on the cognitive domain and assume that learning should be structured from easy to difficult in the following six steps:-

Remember :- we learn to remember, rote memorization and recollection of fact without much understanding.

Understand :- We learn to understand, we begin to decode information and learn.

Apply :- We apply what we know, what we understand.

Analyze :- We learn to analyze, this involves examining and breaking down information into components determining how the parts relate to one another and finding evidence to support generalizations.

Evaluate :- To evaluate we analyze, critique and compare.

Create on :- Now you can create your own new thing

There are two modes of thinking that our brain possesses:

The Focused Mode:
In this mode, the brain is "focused" and is directly able to solve problems it is familiar with. In such a form of thinking, we are focused on the problem or subject we are trying to solve or learn about. Since our mind is too much focused it does not deviate from the original subject and has a narrow approach to thinking which helps us to learn or complete things quickly but it acts as a hurdle for creativity.

The Diffuse Mode:
If the brain is not in its focused state, it is in the diffuse mode, which is where the brain can make random connections and move freely around.
Also, in the diffuse mode, the brain holds a relaxed approach to solving problems. Interestingly, when our brain needs to find a solution, it turns to this mode since there is a pathway to follow and because it needs to develop new thoughts.
