It is even smart enough to offer adaptive learning to suit the student.
    How does Quizlet work?

    Quizlet is broken down into several styles, including:

    • Flashcards
    • Learn
    • Spell
    • Test
    • Match
    • Gravity
    • Live
    Flashcards are pretty self explanatory, like real ones, with a question on one side and the answer on the other.

    Learn puts questions and answers into multiple choice-style quizzes that can be completed to get an overall result. This applies to images, too.

    Spell will speak aloud a word and the student is then required to type out the spelling of it.

    Test is an auto-generated mix of questions with written, multiple choice, and true-or-false answer options. 

    Match has you pairing up correct words or a mix of words and images.

    Gravity is a game that has asteroids with words coming at a planet you need to protect by typing out the words before they hit.

    Live is a game mode that allows for multiple students to work collaboratively.

    What are the best Kahoot! features?

    Ghost
    Ghost is a great feature that allows students to play against their own previous high scores, making a game out of improving performance. This allows for going over a quiz more than once and helping to make sure information sinks in at a deeper level. 

    Analysis
    Improve each student's understanding by using the analytics of results to see which student has struggled and with what, so you can help them in that area.

    Copy
    Take advantage of the wealth of quizzes created by other educators and already available on Kahoot!, which are available to use freely. You can even combine multiple Kahoots for an ultimate quiz.

    Assess students first
    A Kahoot quiz can be a great way to check students' knowledge before you start teaching a subject to help avoid making it too simplistic or too complicated for the class.

    Use media
    Add in videos right from YouTube very easily. This is a great way to have students watch and learn, knowing they're going to be questioned after the video ends. You can also add in images and, in the case of the iOS app, your own drawings.

The features include custom assessments, instructional resources, district reporting, performance monitoring and test prep questions. This app is a classroom assistant that manages student performance improvement on national and state standard scales.

    USATestPrep is a great asset to have in your toolkit! It allows individuals to have an individualized learning plan, if the teacher puts in just a little effort. Here are the pros: - Students can independently see their strengths and weaknesses and work to improve 
    - Teachers can offer remediation to small groups of kids who need help with specific topics 
    - There's a variety of ways to practice: question sets, performance tasks, reading assignments, videos, games, puzzles. Lots of ways to engage diverse learners. 
    - Teachers can control the difficulty of questions being asked. 
    It's awesome! 
    - Teachers can shorten assignments (which is often an accommodation on the IEP) with the click of a button.
    - This could be used as an extra support in a resource classroom to supplement what teachers are doing in the classroom. 
    - It's easily navigated by students and teachers.

     is primarily a website chock full of useful content for learning, organized by grade level, making it an easy way to advance in line with the curriculum. The course materials cover math, science, art history, and more.
    While courses are laid out in a way to teach before testing, using quizzes, it is possible to skip ahead if you've already covered an area. A great feature that keeps everything feeling fresh and exciting. 

    Videos, many by creator Khan himself (who initially started this platform to tutor his nephew), are shot on a virtual background in which notes are written. This allows for both audio and visual input to support learning. 

    Some very impressive specific videos made by great resources are available. For example, there is a TED Ed-made video, one by UNESCO, and another made by The British Museum.
