The world has change greatly within the last 50 years, as our understanding expand and with technological advancement, the U.S is more different than it has ever been. the fight towards equality within the U.S has never been so closer to reality than it is now. we are looking towards the future and slowly leaving the past behind. all the problems within the last 50 years is not so prominent anymore, whether is social discrimination or gender inequality. now African Americans are slowly but surely catching up to white Americans. There are African Americans who are becoming CEO or earning high degree professions. places around the U.S are becoming more diverse than it ever has before, including places like New York City, or Los Angeles.

I can not stress enough how much i appreciate your generosity and modesty, you had so much patience with me and would go out of your way to try to help me in class. I have never had a teacher that would give me so much opportunity to make up for my mistake. i just wanted you to know even though my writing skill might still be lacking, i have never been more confident in my skill as a writer. i hope you continue to push your students and be just as supportive as you were to me.
