I do revise my own work because I don't want people to see my story full of mistakes or they find it hard to understand. I do revise my own work. I look over it about three times and then type it up and say finished. The purpose is to add sentences and make it flow so it's more comprehendible. It is different than editing because editing is checking grammar and spelling issues and stuff like that. I revise my own work so it actually makes sense and can like be taken seriously. Sometimes it can be time-consuming, but when my teacher or my friends read it and actually enjoy it it all seems worth it that I'm being taken seriously.
