Acrid - having an irritatingly strong and unpleasant smell. "It's acrid smellmakes  me think I'm safe, I am in control" . This is just a word I saw and was interested in.
2. Kin - ones family and relations. " My kin believe we see our loved ones when we pass on." Darrow uses this in the story to refer to his family friends and etc.
3. Archgovernor - Chief governor. " Podginus glances over at Archgoverner Augustus." This word is used to talk about a very high ranked person
