5/6's complete a Google Form before starting a new inquiry topic. This includes questions like: What do you already know about ____? What questions do you have about _____? How could we find answers to these questions? What activities would you like to do about ____?

This information is then used when planning lessons, activities and projects for the term

This really helps students to identify the purpose of their learning. If they know there is an end goal (teaching someone else, presenting to the principal, engaging with the community etc.) they have a better understanding and motivation for the learning.

For 3/4 Inquiry, students were given 5 options with a different teacher assigned to each. This allowed teachers to focus on their specific aspect of the Inquiry unit rather than having 5 small groups in each class with a different Inquiry focus.
