The entire book is in rhyme. It does not take long to read and the story flows nicely because of the rhyming. My favorite part is when Katrina met the Gang of McCrook for the first time. There are three members of the gang, Selena the Slash, Sickly van Puke and Bugsy McCrook. No spoilers, but it is funny how she gets away with the help of Mortimer Yorgel.

It shows the struggles of the war of 1812. The war of 1812 is not known by many people. Basically, if Andrew Jackson and his army didn’t protect the Mississippi River, America would have been toast. I liked the part when it’s the main climax of the war in New Orleans and the house Andrew Jackson is in is obliterated into pieces, but he barely got out beforehand.

After being told she's an elf, she is forced to leave her normal life behind (as much of a normal life as a telepathic girl can have) and travel to an entirely different world. My favorite part is when Sophie is trying to say that something is impossible because of the theory of relativity and Fitz asks who made that up, and Sophie responds that Albert Einstein made it, and Fitz responds with "Huh, never heard of him. But he was wrong"

It is a good book to read because some people want some thrill but not to the point of scare.
This book is right in-between.
 My favorite part was when Katniss put on a flaming dress, that was a sparkling orange burning like the sun. Every time she spun it took the audience's breath away. I could just picture that reading this book.

Wahoo's dad Mickey hates the star of the show Derek Badger who is very self-centered and gluttonous. Meanwhile, all this complaining and show business is going on, Wahoo and his dad are accompanied by a girl named Tuna who want to get away from her drunk father. Soon, the star of the show Derek Badger gets bitten by a bat and goes missing in a storm and it's up to the TV crew and search party to find Derek. While all this craziness is going on, Tuna's angry and drunk dad is going after her. And he has a  gun. My favorite part of the book was when Mickey Cray had to save the survivalist from getting eaten by an old and sleepy alligator. I want to recommend this book because it's super funny and it has a lot of action.

He is a very talented author, home-school dad and former Air Force fighter pilot. I have met him in person and come to know that he originally wrote this series for his kids and read them his latest updates every couple of nights during the writing process. He is hoping to make a movie out of the series as well. The series outlines stories in the Bible and includes Godly principles, all set in a medieval-like time period (with lots of sword fighting, of course). I highly recommend you read this series.
