  • Shakespeare was the son of John Shakespeare, an alderman and a successful glover and Mary Arden, the daughter of an affluent landowning family.
  • He was born in 1564 in Stratford-Upon-Avon and died in Stratford-Upon-Avon in 1616. 
  • Shakespeare was baptized on april 26
  • His birthday is most commonly celebrated on 23 April, which is also believed to be the date he died in 1616. 
  • After marrying Anne Hathaway 7 years passed, known as Shakespeare lost years.
  • He was buried in Stratford- Upon-Avon in the Holy Trinity Church
