Especially would be helpful in the medical field. It would probably help with the Karen’s telling people to go home for speaking another language if it was more commonplace. Speaking another language is associated with being foreign and born outside the US mostly and if speaking other languages were more common place, we likely have more trade and travel and be more employable overall outside the US as well.
