Obviously I wouldn't know that much about what you had to go through, but I have learned a little bit. My grandfather also fought in Vietnam during the Vietnam war. He flew helicopters during the battles, and has told me lots about what he experienced. I can't imagine how scary life could be at times for you, so thank you! I also am aware that soldiers who fought in Vietnam didn't get a lot of respect coming home from battle because sending troops over was a controversial thing at the time, which would make it even harder.
