When I was a wee lass, my mother tried to take out my loose tooth by tying a string between it and the door, and slamming the door. The problem was that she tied the string to the wrong tooth, one that had months, even years, to go before being ready to come loose. Afterward, I was an unsightly mess, and a bit in shock, due to the blood loss. My mother couldn't believe her mistake and when she finally spoke, she just said, "I'm sorry." I smiled a toothless smile before I told her I'd forgive her.

When Hubert was a young bird, with all of his bird life ahead of him, he had dreams of becoming a florist. As he grew older, however, he found that his true calling was justice. Even though he is now the King of the Birds and has many birdly duties, Hubert still makes time for flowers. Carlos, a magnificent loon, collects flowers for Hubert. Hubert's favorite flowers are dandelions, since they remind him of the sun, but he also enjoys peonies and tulips.

When I was first asked to write a paragraph with only complex sentences, I refused, because I wasn't sure if I actually learned that in class. This is not an English class, because I barely learn English literature here, while I can hear people talking in Spanish, French, Chinese, and German. Jack, the most enthusiastic language learner, should be a translator in the future, otherwise it would be a waste of his brilliant gifts. Anyway, I like this class, simply because I for sure can travel around the world without any communication problems after I graduate. Now I only need to learn some Russian, the strangest language in the world, in order to travel to Siberia.

Girl scout cookies are literally the best thing to ever happen in my life, and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my class and risk suspension for just half a row of broken, pre-dropped Peanut Butter Patties. Compared to basic, overrated, store bought biscuits, I'd much rather revel in my cookie high with hand bought and over priced minty crisps of ecstasy. Nobody can separate me from my yearly dose of sugar-filled happiness, not even the small stock of the unprepared little girls when I arrive with my piles of cold hard cash. Once I know the cookie season is near, I spring from my cold, barren den like a new born snake, hungry for cookie nutrients. Nobody is more excited and ready then I for the tremendous downpour of Thanks-A-Lot's and Lemonade's, and nobody ever will be.

Once Kurt got done draining a 55-gallon drum of diesel into his system, he hopped on the back of a woolly mammoth and he caped it, right then and there with a 10 foot bowie knife. Kurt then brought it back to his family, not even killed, but instead skinned like a sloth in daylight, tamed like a tabby cat. Although Kurt sunk his rig on the east side of the causeway, he went back and got the model T to pull it out, which didn't go over well. He went to his last resort, which happened to be his sloth son, Joey to help him. So, although the day had its ups and downs for Kurt, he decided to head back to the swamp and said to himself, "Just another day in the swamp".

When I left for a semester, I came back to everyone speaking Chinese. Now my classmates, Scandinavian Minnesotans, are screaming Chinese across the halls because they don't want the teacher to know what they're saying. Although we're in English class, they mainly speak Chinese. Even though, Google translate can be a helpful tool, it can also be a distraction. With all the excitement from learning a new language, I wonder what language will be next.

The judge was going to give us three points because we bribed them. Unfortunately we still lost the game because the referee found out and punished us. The judge was fired because he broke the rules. We were disqualified and were banned from the league because we tried to cheat in the game.

When I was a kid, my mom taught me how to fish, I fell in love with it right away. Not everybody in my house like to fish, my sister hates it, she thinks it smells bad. I think she is crazy, so does my mom, the smell is the least important thing. Once I have my fishing rod set up, I catch huge fish with ease. Some people think that spending your day fishing on a boat is a waste of time, I can assure you that it isn’t.

When i was 12 a trip to the city of the World’s Desire turned into a disaster over our heads when my grandmother got robbed. It was a big shock for us. How did an amazing and merry trip turn into a miserable one? I was in shock for days. This robbery wasn't like any other one. I was taught a lesson. A lesson i would not forget in my life. I was taught how to stay strong, how to be responsible and look after my family, studies, and personal secrets.

The bipolar sky was weeping out obscure emotions, coughing great gouts of sopping moisture, as the eluded memories crawled back, left placid in my crippling mind. My crippling mind that I had tried so hard to contain. Who was I kidding? I was born peculiar, I grew up peculiar, and I will always be peculiar. They claimed that I would get through my difference with their help. They claimed that I would be loved by all despite my condition. They claimed that I will be a free child after the operation. Growing up, the yellow in my life was dominant. The sunlight, and my yellow ankh shaded me from the humans in the outside world, protecting me from the burn lingering in my mind. My rebirth was supposed to be the happiest moment of my life. The day where the doctors would fix my condition, the day where I didn’t have to worry about the dark omen approaching every living cell in my body, until I was a faint memory. I was wrong. I was so wrong. The burn was dominated, with its black ash concealing my yellow.
