One thing that I support or agree with is that the objectives should focus not just on what they need in high school but what is going to support them on the path to college where they can continue to apply it. One idea that I challenge or think needs modification is the idea that everything should be chunked into a class period. Maybe the challenge is more for me on how to implement that or break things down more manageably.

Like the idea of going from end to daily. Struggle with the idea of sometimes having to cut a favorite piece. I think those can show passion and can be links. I know, it more addresses the nebulous rather than measurable.

All too often I realize that my students need more scaffolding during a lesson than I'd anticipated. When this happens, I need to get better at adjusting the objective to ensure that the scope is something that can be taught in a single lesson.
