Take your time before you start
Sing at least two measures and count before you put your hands on the keyboard. It will help you to determine the tempo.
Hear the sound before you play it.
LAST NOTE: very important to end properly, relieve the energy and place your hands on your knees and then get up and bow.
Practice that at home everyday.Do not forget to play it slow.
NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED just keep going and do not STOP!!!

We will start at 3:30 sharp

The door will be open at 3

The students have to arrive 1:15 on the day of the RECITAL all dressed

Parents will be allowed in the auditorium at 3 PM only

The address of the place is 467 instead of 499

It is just college iss very big and numbers are confusing

I will sent you details about the parking availability once I confirm with college administration.

Around The Campfire : scale is smooth, piece itself needs some memorization work especially towards the beginning. Even if you had it memorized once, keep practicing with the book! Keep keep practicing. Middle section of piece gets lost and isn't consistent. What you can do to help you with the parts you don't remember is to play hands separate. This way, your ear knows what to hear. Also, work more on the parts you don't know. It's very easy to practice parts that we already know and feel confident in, but it's working on the parts that our harder for us that will help the piece improve! :)

Dew Drops: tempo is nice and consistent. there are parts of the piece where you pause, let's work on not pausing and playing it smoothly all the way through. What might help when forgetting what comes next is practicing the piece slower and with the book! This way, you have time to look ahead at a part you might be forgetting. Have confidence in your playing and review notes! This piece needs some work but I know you can do it!

Fourth Grade Band: Be Confident in your notes! The notes are right, just keep practicing and don't second guess and pause!

Mexican Clapping Song: Tempo was unclear, make sure that you're playing the note values for what they're worth. Playing at a slower pace and counting while you play will help you keep track of the tempo!

Puff (The Magic Dragon): Really good! Just work on memorization and not stopping when you're confused. Play slow and review notes. Once you feel confident in your playing, than you can increase the tempo. (NOT SURE IF REMOVED FROM PROGRAM OR NOT - ASK MS. ANNA)

Rustice Dance: Good! A few note inaccuracies here and there but you are quick to fix them. Just work on polishing it up a bit and you got it!

The Band: Really good! I can tell you're definitely more confident with this one! Keep practicing and it'll be golden.

The Rainstorm: Needs some extra practice, play slowly so you have time to look at notes (NOT SURE IF REMOVED FROM PROGRAM OR NOT - ASK MS. ANNA)

Under The Linden Tree: Definitely better than before, just keep practicing, and review the parts that get you shaky and where you tend to pause.

Winter Waltz: sounds great! Now let's work on picking up the tempo to make it sound more like a waltz. Middle section you get a little lost, but with some extra practice, it'll sound better each time.
