Khan explains the definition of a geometric series and then goes over examples. He is very articulate and explains the significance of every single step as it pertains to finding an answer. This would be a great video to put with a homework assignment on geometric series as it can be a very complicated task. Some students might not master it from one lecture so a video from Sal Khan would be of great use.

Retrieved January 30, 2024,.

Annotated Bibliography:

Ben Hedrick is the lead in the calculus section of the College Board. He not only knows what will be on the AP Calc exam but also knows how the questions will be worded and what they are trying to test the students on. Although he cannot say what exactly is going to be on the test, it is important to listen to his words because what he says can impact the way you study. This is a tool that can help you prepare for the exam so there is no reason why any student taking AP Calc should not watch this.

Going over the most recent exam is extremely helpful. When I was studying for the exam in high school, I did a practice one, one from the year before, to prepare me. Students need to get used to questions like the ones the college board will ask because they may be different than the ones teachers have asked during the year.

Students who take calculus either take AB or BC, or some will just take calculus without the exam. If you want to take the exam in May, you need to pick the right class to take. You need to know your strengths and weaknesses to see if you can handle BC, or even handle a slower class like AB. This thesis does a great job explaining the different curves and the likelihood of passing each of these exams.

John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

Annotated Bibliography:

Anyone who's taken a calculus class will tell you that it can be extremely difficult. That is why a book like Calculus for Dummies would be a great tool for a student to use if their AP class is moving too fast. The book breaks down the concepts even further than a teacher would. It also goes over prerequisite knowledge for the class which of course you would need to take the course.

When studying for the AP Calc AB exam, this video would be great to watch to make sure you understand all the concepts. In calculus it is all about understanding calculus concepts and then using algebra to apply them. Algebra is learned with practice and calculus concepts is learned through memorization.

Most math students in this day in age don't use any texts but if they use one, it will be a textbook. Using this textbook to practice problem sets after learning a concept in class is the perfect way to succeed in a STEM class. It is also a great tool to come up with sample questions to ask your teacher when you are not understanding a topic. It is such a great way to study as the type of questions from the book will be on an in-class exam as well as the AP Exam.
