TEKS 126.1 - Kindergarten (c) Knowledge and skills. (1) Computational thinking--foundations. The student explores the core concepts of computational thinking, a set of problem-solving processes that involve decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms. The student is expected to: (A) identify a problem or task such as making a sandwich and break it down (decompose)

Students will be able to identify a simple task using the Hide and Seek activity to find the objects. They will think: how do I break it down into smaller, manageable steps using pictures, words, or actions to demonstrate the concept of decomposition in locating the object.
