Tone: the tone in this book is gloomy and tensed, because of the feeling that something is wrong and the tension is very big because of the possible war and the crime of having books. 
Mood: the mood in this book is melancholic and stressed because of all the things that are tormenting the protagonist because the books are illegal for unfair reasons.

The allegory we chose is the one of the fire. Dramatic irony
In Montag's world, firemen are the ones who start the fires, that's why people are afraid of them. When he meets Clarisse she tells him that  she heard that in the past the firemen where the ones that stopped accidental fires, but Montag just laughs because he just believes in his reality.
