1. Our paper covers the testing of three different plastics using injection molding as a material for an e-bike

2. Our key research question is "Is it feasible to produce a recycled e-bike through the utilization of HDPE, rPET, and PVC as materials and injection molding as the process?".

3. There has been a bike made from plastic but that is only using one type of plastic with out comparing it to other plastic. There is little to no research about this specific topic.

4. Our big new idea is the first e-bike made from recycled plastics. We approached the research question through deciding innovations to an existing model.

5. The comparisons of the different plastics, we have already researched about it and found credible sources for it. Once we do have the prototypes we are going to run several tests including UV test, sheer test, compression test and more to truly know which one is better. After that we will let people use it and give their thoughts and experiences with the bike to further discuss what can be done better with the bike.

6. The key impact of our research is the lessening of plastic in the environment. If it is successful, and mass production will follow through, we will contribute in a big way to reduce plastic and gas emission in our country. We want to send a message to always recycle your plastic because it can be used in a big way to help out our environment. We should utilize plastic because it can be used in thousands of ways, we just have to think outside the box.
