The federal Part C, Early Education Program Grant is transitioning from the Early Childhood Support Unit (ECSU) at CDE to the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) for Fiscal Year 2026-27.

For Fiscal Year 2025-26 and prior years, please continue to submit all forms and inquiries to ECSU at: EarlyIntervention@cde.ca.gov

The early intervention supplemental grants, including the Infant Discretionary Funds (IDF) Grant and the State Early Intervention Grant (SEIG), will continue to be administered by ECSU at CDE.

Note: Part C is a federal program, but comes to the CDE through an Interagency Agreement with the lead agency, the Department of Developmental Services. The Part C grant is considered a "State Grant" for the purposes of processing, and uses the State Grant Expenditure Report form.
