1) This story is about a guy named Eckels who buys a ticket to go on a safari to kill a dinosaur in the past. He is transported back in time with some other hunters and is told by the guide, Travis, to stay on the path so as to protect the jungle animal species and not interfere with the passage of time. Unfortunately, he gets 'spooked' by the size of the T-REX and falls of the path. He is sent back to the time machine to wait for the others. At the end, when everyone is back in the time machine and they arrive in the future, a dead butterfly is seen at the bottom of his shoe. They all realise he has altered history with the new president is Deuschler. 

2) The book is called 'Sound of Thunder' because that is the noise the T-Rex dinosaur makes in the jungle.

4) Travis is my favourite character as he is someone I aspired to be like. I always wanted to be a guide and work at the Werribee Zoo. He has patience and expertise in this area of future travel. He seems organised and direct when talking to people.

5) Something I have learned is the Butterly Effect and Domino Effect - meaning you can affect the future by altering a little thing in the present or past.

The setting is a galaxy dominated by the Thousand Worlds Space Forces. My favorite character was Kim Min because she was a strong female.
