         <description><![CDATA[<div>The QR scanner idea and the fidget spinner idea was great. One of the biggest takeaways was the idea of blending technology with hands on activities.&nbsp;<br><br>When I was teaching, I would take indicators from the curriculum and literally design projects around it. The students would then be required to teach the students that particular indicator.  I attached an example below. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Several years ago, when I worked for a different school system, I had a class set of iPads. One time in class I had QR codes all over the room that, when scanned, revealed different math problems to be solved. Students carried a worksheet or whiteboard with them and could only move to the next sheet once the problem was solved. Students were highly engaged because they were excited to use the technology. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Something I've done that is similar to the  trash ball and spinner activities is a "Trivia Review."  I made random trivia questions in advance (that have nothing to do with the content).  The first team to get the correct answer gets the opportunity to earn an extra point by answering the trivia question correctly.  An example of a trivia question could be "What year was the iphone invented?" or "Name 5 foods that start the letter P within 10 seconds."</div>]]></description>
