Every couple of months my mom or my dad would tell me something that they needed me not to tell anyone, they needed me to keep a secret. So they would tell me the secret and tell me not to tell. I ended up telling a lot of people their secret and I lost their trust I lost our relationship to where they could trust me. They didn't want to tell me anything because they didn't trust me anymore. Eventually I had to get back the trust, I had to earn the trust. They gave  me one more chance to get their trust back. So they told me something and I didnt say anything to get back the trust that I lost.
How does this relate to the theme?
This relates to the them because it is all about almost losing a relationship over trust

When I go up to my friend or my sibling and am like hey can I tell you a secret and they are like yeah ofcourse, I tell them thinking I can trust them but sooner or later if she tells one person's it goes to another person, and another, and so on. That is called a rumer. Rumors can hurt and can also ruin your relationship who told the secret on and on. But it's really not the persons fault they didn't know she was gonna pass it on now did he. But still that broke the friendship between my friend and I and I could never trust her again.
How does this relate to the theme? 
This relates to the theme because it tells you what trust is and shows you why trust is important in an relationship.

When I was a little girl I always wanted this big barbie dream house. I really wanted this big pink barbie dream house for one of my presents for christmas. So I went to my parents door and started hearing them talk about christmas I stayed waiting  for them to look at my christmas gift and they did. I put my ear up against the door waiting for them to say barbie dream house.. and I hared them! They told me they were gonna get it. So I was all happy and then everything went silent my mom walked outside and saw me listening. My mom said that I lost her trust and she wasn't gonna get me it anymore, and that I had made a bad decision and that the relationship between us was gone and I had to earn it back
