The importance of adab in learning knowledge

• Adab is obligation to seek in man to excel in dunya and hereafter

• A good attitude can develop a good character

• Goodmaner can gain benefits to success in dunya and hereafter

We as a muslim and a student need to apply adab in everything that we do and most for sure if u want to gain halal knowledge. Adab and ilmu are two different things but they complete each other so as a muslim,adab is everything. Thats why Learning the Quran offers us an opportunity to strengthen our connection with Allah by delving into His words of wisdom and guidance.

ISLAM

ADAB

ADAB TOWARD PARENT

we as their child need to speak softly and respectfully One should speak to parents using gentle and polite words. Avoid speaking rudely or raising your voice. In Islam, Allah insists in the Qur'an not to say "ah" or show signs of displeasure towards parents. Moreover ,children are encouraged to always pray for the well-being of their parents, both when they are alive and after they have died. The prayer of a pious child is one of the practices that continues to flow its reward to the parents after death.

ADAB TOWARD FRIENDS

Every friend deserves respect, both in word and deed. Do not humiliate or embarrass them in front of others. Respecting differences of opinion and background is also part of etiquette in friendship.

Definition of Hikmah

In Arabic, hikmah comes from the root word ḥ-k-m (ح-ك-م), which is related to judgment, authority, and decisiveness. It’s the same root for words like ḥākim (judge or ruler) and ḥukm (judgment or decree).At its most basic level, hikmah means wisdom.

Whatever good you do, Allah ˹fully˺ knows of it. Take ˹necessary˺ provisions ˹for the journey˺—surely the best provision is righteousness. And be mindful of Me, O  people of reason!
