They occur in many forms, glucose, and fibre.&nbsp;<br><br>It's regulated by the body through two forms: one being glucose and the other being glycogen. Glucose is digested through our intestines, absorbed by our blood to be utilised as energy. Glycogen are branches of polysaccharide, a stored form of carbohydrates when we don't need it.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

A woman’s individualized carbohydrate needs are based on her recommended calorie requirements, weight management goals and physical activity level. Since carbohydrates are an athlete’s primary source of energy during workouts, active women need more carbohydrates than women who are sedentary.<br><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
