The Alma Center works to heal, transform and evolve the unresolved pain of trauma that fuels the continuation of cycles of violence, abuse and dysfunction in families and community.

Fatherhood FIRE serves biological fathers, expectant and adoptive fathers, stepfathers or a person who is serving as a father figure for a dependent child or young adult up to 24 years old who lives in Milwaukee County.

To receive Access Clinic care you must be:

• 18 or older

• Milwaukee County resident

• Without a current counselor or prescriber

• Uninsured, underinsured or insured and in crisis

MATC ReStart provides a scholarship for eligible returning students to pay off up to $1,500 of a past-due balance owed to the college for items such as tuition, books and other fees.

ReStart is breaking down the barriers that stand between you and your dreams of going back to MATC. 

 WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Students with an existing MATC student account balance (past due debt) of $1,500 or less whose last attendance at MATC was between May 2007 and May 2023.

Note: This program does not apply to debt owed on student loans.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROGRAM?

STUDENTS MUST MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

• Have an existing past-due balance with MATC of $1,500 or less

• Have last attended MATC between May 2007 and May 2023.

• Have already earned at least six college-level credits at MATC

• Be registered for at least six additional college-level credits by financial aid census date (three credits if starting in the summer semester)

• Have not completed an associate degree or higher

• Have established a way to pay for their tuition (including qualifying for Financial Aid, setting up a payment plan, or qualifying for another MATC Foundation scholarship)
