Example, rains falls on the landscape and when it falls on ridge, it goes one way it is in one watershed, if it goes the other way it erodes the weak rock and dirt and all the water collects following gravity and digs out channels called river.

A watershed is an area of land where all the water from rain, rivers, and streams flows to the same place, like a lake, river, or ocean. It resembles a large bowl that gathers and channels water to a central point.

From my understanding, a watershed is the land area where all water, from rain and other sources, flows downhill and drain or collected into a single outlet, such as a river, lake, or ocean.

Watershed is any portion of the earth’s surface within a physical boundary that defined by topographic sloped that divert all runoff to the same drainage outlet. Watersheds also can be classified based on size, mean slope, length and land use.

For me, watershed can be define as an area of land where all the water from all sources including rainfall, streams flows to a single point or to a common water body like river, lake and ocean. It flows from a higher elevation area to lower ones eroding the weak sediment and rocks, collecting them into the streams and rivers following the gravitational force.

In my opinion, watershed is land area that water falling and drain in it such as stream or lakes. This is very values to our biodiversity because it keep water quality in a good condition,and our life too.
