About Me

I've spent the last four summers (and more to come!) as a head counselor and division leader for campers going into kindergarten. This experience sparked my passion for teaching and inspired me to pursue it as my career!

I also spent time as an assistant teacher in a preschool classroom with children ages 3-4. This gave me great experience in ways to manage a classroom, implement lessons, and make learning fun!

Kindergarten- Morning Meeting

Morning meeting is a great way to share thoughts and build a classroom community in any grade! I like to design activities that connect real world examples and content learning (like making predictions, identifying 'snap' words, and reinforcing math concepts). Here, we shared predictions for who we thought would win the Super Bowl and supported our reasoning with details.
