Instead, the thought that the Work Immersion program might be compromised was my main concern. I would ask myself "How can I assure that the accountancy course is legitimately fit for my expertise if no actual simulations and practices will be conducted?" This particular activity was what we were all excited about last year as the commencement of our 11th cycle in high school was fast approaching. Questions still generate in my mind such as "Will the alternative form of this workshop be enough to secure my plans in undertaking BS in Accountancy?" and "How will the online-bound initiative influence me as an aspiring business-related student?"

After the diverse set of webinars and break-out sessions during the Online Work Immersion, I might have not put my knowledge of the basic concepts of accounting into practice, yet I am still grateful to be exposed to such passionate field practitioners. They have taught me that flexibility in the corporate world should be manifested as the spirit of humility still prevails. Various realizations occurred such as indications that expectancies after graduation will not always be met, competency along with uniqueness is essential in a business setting, and opportunities should not be ignored. These learnings widened my insights about adaptability and determination in the merchandising industry.
