The lighthouse is being bathed by the sunrise rays on a beautiful, clear morning. The sailors can rest now that the night is over, and the danger of wrecking their ship on the unseen rocks and cliffs has passed. The pine trees make me think that it is located far away from the tropics at a cold region, maybe somewhere in the northern states of our country. What great symbols of hope are the new day and a guiding light!
