He killed thousands in doing his wars. He was very egotistical and only cared much about himself, treating others like he was above them and they were beneath him. In time of crisis people were allowed to become dictators for a while until the conflict was dealt with and then they usually stepped down. So, when he became a dictator, it was expected that he would step down after a while but instead he extended his reign, eventually ending his life. Julius Caesar became arrogant and threw lavish parties for everyone to rejoice in. So he was liked by the public but not by his colleagues who felt threatened by him. He was very smart and gave everyone land, food, and games to play and have a good life with so he could win their approval and wouldn’t be hated against for extending his reign as dictator. Even if he was being nice at first once he got full power he wouldn’t need to and would probably end being so likable. He cared mostly for military conquest sending his soldiers for many battles during his reign, not exactly making it very peaceful for everyone. He killed thousands in doing his wars. He was very egotistical and only cared much about himself, treating others like he was above them and they were beneath him. In time of crisis people were allowed to become dictators for a while until the conflict was dealt with and then they usually stepped down. So, when he became a dictator, it was expected that he would step down after a while but instead he extended his reign, eventually ending his life. Julius Caesar became arrogant and threw lavish parties for everyone to rejoice in. So he was liked by the public but not by his colleagues who felt threatened by him. He was very smart and gave everyone land, food, and games to play and have a good life with so he could win their approval and wouldn’t be hated against for extending his reign as dictator. Even if he was being nice at first once he got full power he wouldn’t need to and would probably end being not so likable.
