I didnt know that the Tora was written in a roll and had to be sung to a certain melody.I didnt know that Rabbi are alowwed to marry.I didnt know that Jews belived that they have to make the world a better place.

I didn't know that Torah was in a scroll and not in a book like a Quran and that it was writen in a special type of ink that will get ruined with oil. I also didn't know that if your parents were Jews, you were automatically a Jew when born and that you can change your religion. It was interesting how the Rabbi said that he believes in evolution and not in both or creation

I didn't know that the Rabbis and the normal Jews were equal and that there were no rules for the Rabbis that was forbidding somethings.

I didn't know that the people who went to the synagogue could also be like the Rabbi and be the leader of the ceremony as well. Also I didn't imagine the synagogue to look like that and I didn't know that just putting on your shoes in a certain way was a commandant.

I didn't know that beside from beliving in one God, Jews can belive in anything they want. I didn't know that there is a mark on food contaniers to show that they are Kosher foods.

-I didn't know that the reason on not touching the Torah was because to not to ruin it.

-I thought that it was cool because the Torah was written in ink.

-I thought that the Synagogue was more old, but it looked new.

-I thought that the Rabbi was more old, but he looked young and he stuck his hands in his poker for most of the time.

I didnt know that people could do any of the jobs in a service that a rabbi does, or that they could lead the whole serviceI also like the idea that the synagogue is place to meet and talk to other too, not just sitting in a three hour service listening or praying!
