This article from the International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education discusses the future of classroom teaching alongside Artificial Intelligence. It discusses that the author believes that AI will become prevalent in schools, but that in order to be prepared for that, students and teacher will need to develop a new skillset. That skillset includes prompt engineering, being able to effectively communicate with the AI to get a favorable outcome, AI literacy, which is understanding the capabilities and limitations of AI as well as the ethical implications of using it, and lastly, the students and teachers must keep developing critical think skills to help fill in the gaps for where AI still is imperfect.
