I like your final three ideas, your research for your final idea seems really solid. For the scenes where things appear to be moving, you could paint your fishing wire green so you can composite it out, or you could use stop motion animation instead.

As well, you could look into some paranormal horror video games such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil to get a wider variety of research.

For your secondary research, I would suggest looking at specific characters from the films you've chosen to research. This should help you create characters for your own project and give you inspiration on how they are portrayed in the horror genre.

Very good idea and good choice of directors to research. When doing your primary research include an introduction to discuss what you're doing and why you're doing it and then summarise at the end. I would also recommend that you research sound effects in films as this helps to add atmosphere and tension to the horror genre.

I think your idea is excellent and leaves tonnes of room for research. In terms or primary, you have the opportunity to talk to each and every one of us, discussing our memories and opinions as well as collecting stories to do with how our individual projects have developed.

I'd recommend personal, biased documentaries for you to watch as you said yourself it's participatory, but you've clearly looked at plenty already.

From your secondary research I can tell the kind of movie you are going for. So I recommenced a show called 91 Days which has a similar scene to the one you referenced. I feel like it would be beneficial to research into that too. I would, however, move the analyzing of Netflix shows into your secondary research; rather than primary. This is due to the product being owned by someone else.

I think your idea is absolutely brilliant, I can't wait to see it brought to fruition. I recommend taking out your camera and shooting with a range of different exposures to get the hang of the vibrancy needed for a film like this.

I also recommend watching a few noir and neo-noir films such as The Big Goodbye, Double Indemnity, Sin City and Sunset Boulevard.

I really like this idea, should be a very emotional short film. I would recommend films 'Miracle Worker' a film about 'Helen Keller' and 'Rainman' as part of your secondary research to try and get the right emotions. Also try to complete your earlier tasks ie initial research before you progress onto the next task.

You said you wanted to look into women in shows, and films so I recommend looking at Diablo Guardian. Either the novel or the TV show which is on Amazon Prime. I also like how you included Lucifer into the characters to look into as he is a fallen angel who goes to earth. There is the song Angel with a Shotgun by The Cab. Which mentions about a war and the character protecting them even if it means giving up their faith. You could link the lyrics to your angel protecting the person they're tasked to protect.

Since you are going for the possession idea. I can recommend some good shows, and games to look into. Also I can introduce you to some people who can help you make it possible. Game wise you should look into the game NieR: Automata as near the end of the game all the androids get infected with a virus except 2 characters who managed to use that power to become stronger. As well as the ones who were affected becoming super strong and losing their sanity/being taken over.

Your idea sounds really good, so I'd recommend supporting it with research into some stuff to do with the character's mental state. As well as this, since demonology is part of your plot, I recommend looking into some classical literature that involves hell and demons. The Divine Comedy, by Dante Alighieri is a good example, as is John Milton's Paradise Lost.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I recommended to Sophie and Hideki Kamiya's breakout work Devil May Cry both involve a lot of demons and supernatural creatures, so that could be helpful. As well as this, my final bit of advice would be to do some concept art or ask someone else to do it for you, as demons are a great chance to be visually creative.

For secondary research, I would suggest looking into Bandersnatch and the character of Stefan Butler as later on in the show, he thinks someone is controlling him and nobody believes him (thinks he's crazy). If you decide to look at Bandersnatch, I would also look at Colin Ritman, as he is aware of what's happening with Stefan, but doesn't really help all that much (could be seen as manipulating).

You mentioned that the trailer will have a voice over. You could look on Fiverr for a voice actor who can voice over your trailer. I recommend a guy called Deeja14. He does cheap but great quality voice overs and doesn't mind you using his work in your trailer/film.
I also recommend to look into a show/book called 'Code Geass' and especially into the character 'Lelouch' and how he manages to rule his kingdom the wrong way for the right reason. He's a great anti-villain.

I am deeply impressed by not only your project concept but the breadth and depth of your research. It's analytical and developmental, informing your film in a way that I can only hope to match. You've cited sources both notable and obscure, taking inspiration from anything and everything to expand your concept.

The only ways I can recommend that you branch out are by looking at foreign cinema, video games and animé. Mass Effect and Warframe are fantastic examples of true sci-fi and hard sci-fi respectively, while Akame ga Kill shows a female warrior overthrowing an oppressive regime.

Good range of film ideas of varying genres and concepts which is good to see. Final idea is to create a short crime genre 15-20 minutes audiences is 15 and above called assigned.
Good initial research not just looking at the inspiration for the one idea but for all three- lots a text I recommend you also throw some visuals in to help with breaking up text.

Survey feedback - try to introduce what your survey is wanting to achieve at the beginning - why have you selected the questions and what do you predict they would answer ? structure idea:
start with her in the Gym or training are before a big fight for on of the belts in her division (audience does not know that the fight is a belt match, allowing them to assume she isn't any good at boxing based on what the coach says).
coach "you need to win the fight, otherwise this is the end of your career in boxing"
as she is getting her self ready to fight she self reflects on everything in her life and in her past such as being bullied and the pressure put on her by her parents etc. this shows all the character development that you want to show.
the end will be the commentator saying that it is an important match and that she needs the win otherwise its the end of her career but she hasn't lost a fight yet.
the means she isn't the underdog winning but the audience assumed she was but have now got the full story.
if she wins or loses is up to you.

The research you have completed so far is good especially the color grading you have looked at
One of the few things you can dramatically improve on is the plot of your film, you just got to plan out the beginning, middle and end to be able to have a good structure for the audience to be able to understand your film.
Another thing you can improve on is by simplify the work by changing the location to somewhere you're more familiar with.

Your basic story concept is very powerful, but as Ollie said it needs compressed down into a better structure. There are various ways you could do this such as cutting out the fight altogether, cutting out the stuff surrounding the fight or intercutting the match with the plot points before and after it.

Great idea and structure I like that you have clear direction in where your story is going! You could include emails/ vlogs from fashion/ music departments. Include your audition tapes and state why you have chosen the characters for each actor. Think about and analyse your responses, from your questionnaire and other sources. And lastly how have other films/ short films inspired your idea? :)

Fascinating and diverse range of initial ideas. You backed up your choice of final five and final three ideas, as well as your actual chosen project very well with primary research conducted through interviews.

Solid idea with a lot of potential to be great and potentially even be sold to Doncaster's tourism board. As there's no plot your main focus needs to be on cinematography and editing. Sources for the former include Black Panther DP Rachel Morrison and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly DP Tonino Delli Colli, while a great example of the latter is the late, great Peter E. Berger.
