Band kid!

I love marching band, I play the trumpet and I am my band's brass section leader. I have been playing since the 6th grade and now I am a Senior in jazz band, concert band and marching band. Music is a big part of my life, I love using it to express myself. The photo above is a picture of my marching band. We got to go to State Championships for the first time ever this year. Band has helped me get through school, it has shown me determination and courage. I wouldn't be where I am today without music. My trumpet section are some of my bestest friends and I am so lucky to have this marching band in my life.

I'm also in my schools's theater community. I've acted in 3 plays and I have assistant directed in 2 musicals. I love film and directing I would love to direct a film one day. Here's a photo from my school's production of Shadow Play. My director actually wrote this play. My theater director has written 2 plays and I have had the pleasure to act in both. Performing means the world to me, it is very therapeutic.

I love my dog Ollie, he is truly the sweetest boy. I got him because I have a lot of mental health problems and he helps me get through it! We have trained him to help me whenever I am in crisis. Here is a picture of me and him. He is an American Stafordshire Terrier mix, he has a bit of everything in him including chihuaha, pitbull, weiner dog etc.

I love my friends so much.. My friends Boris and Tyler are my heart and soul. Both of them light up my life and make everything worth it. We love going to concerts and doing marching band together. Here is a picture of us seeing the band TV Girl! Being around them both brings me so much joy. School would be actually unbearable without them.

My all-time favorite band is Gorillaz. Gorillaz has been my favorite band since I have been in the womb. I love them and their music brings me peace. I also love Nirvana, Aphex Twin, Nine Inch Nails, Tyler The Creator, The Notorious BIG, Alice in Chains, TV Girl and so many more. I take music very seriously and it definitely is one of my love languages. I love to expand my taste frequently, the photo above is my Spotify Wrapped for this year!
