I received this question via email: Regarding Keller’s Brand Resonance Model, do we have to explain, then relate each of the six aspects to our brand? Also, how much depth should we go into when describing models, considering we don’t have a large word count?

Andrew's answer:
There is no need to explain the models. You need to apply them, by applying them you will demonstrate your understanding. Be as succinct as you can. Marks come from applying and evaluating the model/s. Say why the model is important to your evaluation (one sentence?). Then a sentence or two explain the key things it shows applying it to your brand.

Regarding Turnitin, do we have a percentage that we don't have to exceed?

I have never worked to any fixed percentage. Personally I don't believe that's how it works.
If it's all your own work but there is, in your mind a high percentage, it is likely because you have used a lot of references and citations. If it's all your original work you have no need to worry

Also make sure that you give them the appropriate support (words)

Yes there is a link. Just make sure that your comments on equity and identity are given equal space (words). Remember they are different concepts.

Go for it.
If you go for their view (the alternative view) make sure you can support it.
Again we know it's a tight word count so properly supported sentence/s will work.

Or both?

Good question!
New ideas are for task 2.
this is a critical audit of where you are now.

Do you think applying Aaker's Brand Identity prism would be sufficient in the Brand Identity section? As we have to be brief and concise there is not much space to include all the required topics, is there a chance you would consider is as a lack of research? Thank you!

It would be good to have some critical analysis of the prism. remember we are only after a few sentences. we know the word count is tight. Make all sentences count. Critical analysis with a reference will start to show wider reading.
