This sentence describes how their life has changed in a few hours and how things that are normal for us are symbols of the war they are experiencing, such as a broken glass or window.

I think this picture is so significant for the period we’re going through, because during this moment lots of people, including children, are losing their life, the most important thing.

I felt so sad and upset when I saw what was happening in Ukraine, and also tired and angry. These kinds of events are not supposed to happen owing to the diplomacy we have learned over the years and after all the past wars. I understand the motivations of the actions but I think there is another way to manage their avversation, and it is not to terrorized and submit an entire population.

I’m against all of this and I hope that they will reach a compromise.

I think that this image can represent an important thing that sometimes we don't remember. Humans are very little in front of nature, they believe always to be the most powerful species on the earth, but this is a fake. Nature is always capable of rebuild everything that we have destroyed.

I took this picture also because it reminds me an important painter that I have studied this year: Pablo Picasso.

In Guernica, a paint that denounces the horrors of the war of Spain, we have  the image of a flower that borns from a broken arm, and it represents the image of the rebirth.

I believe that when the Ukrainian war will finish we will have the rebirth of nature.

People will return to their homes and cities will be rebuilt. The flower is a symbolic image and in this context  we can rely the flower to the fact that one day the war will finish and Putin will be defeated or killed  and we will return to a period of peace and prosperity like the period that we were living before the beginning of this war

I wish that one day we could put aside all the differences and all the borders and just realize how similar we are.

Putin criticizes the Western countries as they defend different values, but i think that under democracy multiple values can coexist, and that it certainly guarantees freedom, which is a privilege that was taken away from russian people.

This whole situation made me think about late 1940, when a weak and desperate Britain was fighting alone against the Axis powers. In the darkest time of the history of the UK, doomsday was tremendously near for the brits; however, thanks to a massive effort by both population and army and of course the leading of honorable Sir Winston Churchill, the british isles never got invaded by the nazis. 

Now, it is clear that the Ukrainian situation is different as they do not have one particular characteristic that saved Britain in the past: sea borders. I am therefore sure that Ukranians are carrying out exactly what British people were doing back in 1940: believe in final victory, fight to the last stand. They’re not losing hope, not a single man, woman or child is thinking about surrender. They’re alone (they do not have military alliances with anyone)  and outnumbered, but as in WW2, there is one big nation that is, in terms of generic and military aids, helping the fight, as well as half the world.  

So, will the mighty United States enter a conflict between a superpower nation as they did in 1941, or will it be a different scenario?  Will there be a casus belli as Pearl Harbor or the sinking of Lusitania? 

Nothing is certain, but one particular outline is crystal clear: if the war will prolong for more time than Tsar Putin has planned, not only Ukraine will be doomed and buried alive, but also Europe and Planet Earth itself.   

And this, my fellows, is scaring the hell out of me. 

The ghost of Nuclear War is again whispering in the darkness, tucking in all public networks, especially social media. 

We, the folk, must act as Ghostbusters and catch him in a trap, neutralise it once and for all.

We shall fight for denuclearization, all people of the world, united as one, against doomsday. 

Against human annihilation, for a better, safe and peaceful planet.
