         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Stamp Act was Britain's way of gaining money once again to be able to pay for the fees of the 7 years War. This tax included anything that was paper. Colonists weren't upset about the tax itself but moreover the fact that they had no say about the tax. The colonists and the British went back and forth for a while until the Stamp act was removed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This incident occurred due to a mob forming in retaliation of rumors that were being spread in the news, or out of retaliation of the previous acts. While being harassed soldiers accidentally shot and killed around 5 people. This also added to the already built up resentment from the people.</div>]]></description>

This opened the door to put harder tax on the Colonies and built even more tension between France and England, this would also open the door to the French aligning with the Colonists during the American Revolution.</div>]]></description>

I think this was the final act that lead to the "point of no return." Simply put, these acts were meant to discourage the colonists' rebellion, instead it added to it.</div>]]></description>
