How can I check grades?

Login to Synergy to check upcoming assignments and entered graded assignments.
Students can login directly from Benton's website.
Parents can also have accounts. If you have questions, please stop in at the office.

Where do I find all the assignments?

All class assignments are posted in Google Classroom. Materials will be organized by date. Students also have instant access to the online science textbook via ClassLink.

Is late work accepted?

Strong work ethic and punctuality are vital characteristics. Assignments are due on the posted due date. Late work will be accepted; however, full credit will not be received.

How do I prepare for tests?

Students will complete a review sheet for every test that includes each topic that will appear on the test. Answers are given in class to those students who attempt every question. The best way to study for science is to PRACTICE.

What should I practice on IXL?

Students should do their weekly assigned practice. Students should begin working on the assigned practice immediately so if they have questions, there is time to ask. New skills are posted each Friday and due the following Friday. IXL offers a different perspective of learning science concepts.
