I liked reading this book because it was exciting because there was so much going on. It was hard to put down since I always wanted to know what was going to happen next.

Luna was the sacrificed baby. She became enmagicked with moonlight. 

Xan is a good witch that saves the sacrificed babies that are left in the woods by the people of the Protectorate who think Xan is evil.

Fyrian is a little dragon that lives with Xan.

Antain is in the Protectorate and is trying to stop the Day Of Sacrifice.
