"India is a nation steeped in religious superstitions and beliefs, and its people observe a variety of ceremonies and festivals such as ugadi, Diwali, holi, Rakhee, aksharabhyasan, Yagnas or rituals, and sati. Marriage ceremonies which were a complicated and elaborate procedure have now been simplified with the acceptance of the registered ceremony. Cermonial prayers invoking the rain gods, cult worship and mantra recital are some of the ancient practices that are still considered effective."

There are marriage ceremonies and other productions that are done. Some older practices are still considered effective but they have been shorted. This article talked about purifying elements, and how their practices were bring peace to the world.

I think Buddiest's final goal is to be happy and elemainate all suffering, however this task can be achived in many diffrent ways. I think this is something one has to fiugure out for themselves. Everyone has their own issues that sometimes needed to be solved alone. I also learned that Buddhism has added other beliefs from other religions, cultures and societies. Also the number of Buddiest has increased from 1990 and 2000.

I chose this article because it was different from the other ones I have read. This article was by a real Jew's point of view. The girl who wrote this section of the article is pretty faithful to her religion. She talks about being observant and when in conflict she reminds her self between right ands wrong. Besides holidays Judaism just seems like going about your normal life very cautiously, thinking before you speak being kind to others and respecting those around you. Fridays are for resting and reconnecting with the worlds around you.
