I agree with what the review says because that is what I read in the book. especially the part were the review says "confused and convinced it's a joke Tick doesn't tell his parents about the first letter."This is at the beginning of the book when you are just getting to know Tick And so far in the story he seems like a really good kid, and hiding something from his parents seems unheard of. The letters are a series of clues that will lead Tick to a misterios MG. Later in the book he finds out what MG stands for. Tick received a letter from alaska in the first chapter. When he first opened it he thought it was a joke. Then when a week later he receives a letter from Japan he realizes it is real.
