         <title>4 - L2 Language Assessment</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>o Literacy Tasks: These tasks are used for students who are at the earliest stages of language acquisition.The tasks will gauge the students’ ability to demonstrate an understanding in: print concepts, alphabet, and vocabulary.  </div><div>o Reading Assessment: Assist the student in selecting a book that is within their range of ability, and support them by activating their prior knowledge before preceding. Once it is clear that the student has chosen a book they can read independently, begin recording the students’ reading behaviours. Complete assessment by reviewing the post reading questions with the student.  </div><div>Writing Assessment: The written task will be based off of the reading task, the picture response, or the oral interview. While the students are writing, jot down different things your are noticing.</div>]]></description>
