Ron Clark stated that enthusiasm should serve a purpose (2004).  I want students to be able to know that every decision will effect their life, so making  important life choices whether in sports or in class will serve a purpose in their future endeavors.  I have worked with all types of students and having these characteristics does help students feel more open to share their goals with me.  According to Clark (2004), another way we can help students to trust us is by taking risks when teaching. One way I would take risk is by doing team building challenges to get all of the students involved, including students who are hesitant to participate in group activities. Depending on the issue in hand, the exercises would be different, such as role-playing, and outdoor activities.
