The Hindu religion also promotes Dharma, which is their moral code for duty, religion, and other things. They believe in Atman, or one's eternal self that is either transferred to a new life or given Moksha, or union with Brahma, upon death. The Upanishads are a part of the larger Vedas, which is a collection of many old Sanskrit hymns, rituals, and ideas that outline much of Hinduism.
