On the surface this collection of adverts may just appear to be comedic jokes of people getting themselves into situations, however upon further analysis of the adverts. The advert actually displays our fears of sex, embarrassment and death, as each of the adverts show a different station that ourselves would fear to be in. Although the adverts differ all of them do coin this theme and usually link to one or more of the main factors of advertising. (Sex, death and fear).

Each advert also shows that people are extremely harsh with judging people and making their opinion on them clear within a few seconds, woman are also seen as sexual objects throughout most of the ads, even if the punch line of the joke falls to the men. This is too continue with the theme of male dominance and men's power of women, in addition to this a few of the adverts insist on people killing or murdering as the first idea in people's head. This could show that we assume the worst case in most situations, further hammering home the idea that the company does not do these things as they are meant to be seen as respectful and helpful.

This Wonga advert was banned by the ASA after they received 31 complaints, informing them the advert was misleading. As it gave consumers incorrect information, so the advert was banned shortly after. However I do believe the ASA was right to ban this advert as Wonga deals with loans and money, so giving false information to your consumers is extremely risky.
