It showed the role of communication in the research process as sharing of or a two way process between multiple parties. The ethical responsibility of sharing information from a research process is also important. 

The purpose for the research proposal is written plan to support research to address and specific problem. It support how research is done and the manner to action it. 

 The research report is a “written statement whose purpose is to communicate research results, strategic recommendations, and/or other conclusions to management or other specific audiences” (Zikmund, Babin, Carr, & Griffin, 2009, p. 611).

The difference between a research proposal and research report is that the proposal is written in future tense and the report is written in past tense. 

The oral presentation which present direct communication with set audiences to give an interactive engagement to share information and feedback.
